Yeah. Even though I haven’t really played SpyParty (with a few exceptions) in nearly half a year now, I love reading your blog posts about the development process.

That bug would have kept me up at night trying to figure it out. Glad it got fixed :) Though it did lead to some hilarious moments.

As a computer science major having watched the development of this game for at least a year (and just getting into the closed beta (Horray!)) I just wanted to say how much I appreciate these posts. This is such a beautiful bug and I loved reading about this whole discovery process. The time and thought that has gone into this game makes me smile. Although I haven’t played any yet I can appreciate how much I miss in the casted games you’ve posted. Thanks for all the hard work and the updates!

Nah, the problem isn’t if something like this happens again, since now we’ve had this it’ll be (relatively) obvious. The problem is the next thing will be something completely different! Whee, game development! :)

There is little risk of it being completely bug free for a very long time, so don’t worry. :)

This has been the most notorious bug since long before I joined the beta. Now that it’s dead, there is no great white whale left to catch. I fear the day that there is no bug left to find in SpyParty. At that point, all that will be left to do is play the game! (It’ll be awesome, but I do so love imperfection!)
